Happy Africa Day 2022! As a firm with strong connections to the continent–many of our clients and most of our team are African–it’s the perfect occasion to celebrate the creativity and industry of Africa, powered by the enterprising youth. Africa is both the oldest continent and the youngest in the world, home to a new cadre of tech companies. 

African startups broke records to raise over $4 billion in VC funding last year and had exciting acquisitions that signal increasing maturity. It’s thrilling to see this immense progress, and we are proud to support it.

While cutting costs is a natural reaction to news of global recession, companies that have strong sales or customer growth have a great opportunity to stand out as a bright light in a sea of bad news.
